Sports organisation Le Champion, with 45 employees, 18,000 members and thanks to the efforts of 3,500 volunteers, is one of the largest sports organisations in the Netherlands. With dozens of events for cyclists, runners and walkers, Le Champion inspires over 300,000 people to get moving every year. Among the best-known events are; NN Dam tot Damloop, beach race GP Groot Egmond-Pier-Egmond, Zandvoort Circuit Run, De 4 van Alkmaar, Ronde van Noord-Holland, Egmond Halve Marathon and the TCS Amsterdam Marathon. Le Champion is a non-profit sports organisation with a social mission: to inspire and facilitate as many people as possible to exercise, and thus contribute to a healthy and connected society.
