Registration 2nd edition Zandvoort Light Walk open

Walkers will find themselves in a sea of light art installations on 19 FebruaryWalkers can enjoy a sea of light art installations and acts on Saturday 19 February 2022 during the second edition of the Zandvoort Light Walk. The walking event takes participants across the beach and through the atmospheric center of the seaside resort. There is a choice of three distances: 18 km, 14 km, and the 6 km Family Walk.

The first edition took place two years ago and was a great success. There were 5,000 walkers at the start and they were able to enjoy thirty impressive light art installations and acts. They were also the first to walk on the brand-new asphalt of Circuit Zandvoort. Organizer Le Champion wants to go even further in 2022 and completely transform Zandvoort into a grand light spectacle, with new acts, a passage through the Arie Luyendyk curve on the F1 circuit, and an atmospheric finish party in the center of Zandvoort.

Family Walk
At the Zandvoort Light Walk, there is a special family section: the Family Walk. The Family Walk is a unique walking experience of 6 km for the whole family. This walking tour is aimed at the world of children, but is suitable for everyone who likes to walk a shorter distance. Children up to and including 4 years old can register for free under the supervision of an adult.

Walk for charity
The KNRM Zandvoort is the new official charity of the Zandvoort Light Walk. Upon registration, participants can make a voluntary donation for the purchase of new survival suits, the last resort for the rescuer in case they fall overboard in bad weather or have to jump overboard to save someone else.

Register
Registration for the 2nd Zandvoort Light Walk is now open. Walkers can register until Monday 7 February via www.zandvoortlightwalk.nl or until the participant limit is reached.
