Registration for the 3rd edition of the Zandvoort Light Walk is now open

Evening walking tour along a sea of lights presents a new distance of 10 km

On Saturday, 17 February 2024, an expected 7,500 enthusiastic walkers will stand at the start of the 3rd edition of the Zandvoort Light Walk. During this spectacular walking experience, participants can choose from routes of 6 km (Family Walk), the newly added 10 km, and the familiar distances of 14 and 18 km. Registration for this winter walking spectacle is now open.

To be able to offer everyone a tailored distance, organizer Le Champion has decided to add an extra distance of 10 km. In addition to the popular 6 km Family Walk and the distances of 14 and 18 km, it will also be possible to walk 10 km in February. This distance is suitable for anyone who wants slightly more of a challenge than the short distance of the Family Walk.

Family Walk for the whole family
A popular part of the Zandvoort Light Walk is the 6 km Family Walk. This route is suitable for every walking level and specifically aimed at the participation of children. The Family Walk is a unique walking experience for the whole family, where all children will certainly marvel at the magical lights they encounter along the way.

The light acts along the route of the Family Walk are specifically aimed at children, but also fun for adults. Do you want to experience the unique atmosphere of the Zandvoort Light Walk, but are the distances of 10, 14, and 18 km too long for you? Then secure your starting ticket for the 6 km quickly and let yourself be enchanted together with your family in Zandvoort. Last year, this category sold out early. More starting tickets have been made available for the 6 km this year, but sales are expected to go fast this year as well.

Plenty of lights and coziness
The beach, the atmospheric center, and the iconic Circuit Zandvoort will be transformed into a sea of lights. Not only does organizer Le Champion pull out all the stops with the most beautiful artworks, awesome acts, and cozy refreshment stations along the way, but a appeal is also made to the participants. The walkers are asked to decorate themselves with lights or wear luminous accessories. Thus, a long ribbon of lights will wind through Zandvoort on Saturday evening, 17 February.

After the finish, as with all walking events of Le Champion, a cozy party will be celebrated. Atmospheric music will be provided in the center of Zandvoort, and a toast can be made to the sporting evening at the local hospitality venues in Zandvoort.
