Registration for 5th edition Zandvoort Light Walk open

On Saturday 31 January, Zandvoort will once again be all about light, atmosphere and experience during the 5th edition of the Zandvoort Light Walk. The spectacular evening walking tour takes participants through the center, over the boulevard, the beach and the iconic Circuit Zandvoort. Along the way, they will be surprised by light art, street theater and acts that put the route in a magical light. Walkers can choose from distances of 18, 14, 10 km or the Family Walk of 6.5 km. Registration is now open.

Participants start their walking adventure from the Louis Davids Carré in the heart of Zandvoort. As soon as dusk sets in, the seaside resort comes to life and thousands of lights fill the route. Sports organization Le Champion encourages participants to also be part of the spectacle themselves. With lights and luminous accessories, they together form a brilliant ribbon of light through Zandvoort.

Family Walk
A popular part of the Zandvoort Light Walk is the 6.5 km Family Walk. This route is suitable for all ages and offers families a unique evening full of light and experience. Along the way, the youngest participants enjoy special light acts and surprising effects, which also bring a smile to the faces of adults.
Those who want to experience the magic of the Zandvoort Light Walk but find the longer distances too far can choose this shorter distance. There is great interest: last year the Family Walk sold out early.

New theme: Water World
This year, the Zandvoort Light Walk is once again dedicated to a theme. In honor of the 200th anniversary of the seaside resort, the theme of the 5th edition is: Water World. The route leads past light art and acts that creatively interpret this. From dancing waves to glistening sea creatures and graceful mermaids. Let yourself be carried away by a stream of light and wonder while Zandvoort transforms into a sparkling ocean for one evening.
